Lot Information

Apparently only 3 copies were ever made Mackenzie - Jones & Roberts had a copy each. Dr. Richard Gordin was always interested in the game of golf (he was a personal friend to Jack Grout & Jack Nicklaus's father George, they watched the young Jack Nicklaus learn how to play golf. In the late 1950s and early 60s Gordin wrote his Doctoral thesis on the great Bobby Jones. During the course of this work he personally visited Mr. Jones more than dozen times in Atlanta and corresponded by letter extensively. Bobby Jones must have taken a shine to this young man because whenever Gordin mentioned or took a liking to a particular item owned by Jones. Bobby Jones instructed his secretary Jean to gift him these personal items, like photos, personal papers, books. On this ocasion he gave him his working shedual of the new greens at the Augusta National. Only 3 existed Mackenzie - Jones & Roberts. This is an exact facsimile of Bobby Jones's copy. Stiff card covers with special brass buttons to affixed the booklet. This is copy number 31 of only 100 that got produced in 2013
